Summer Goodbyes

New York-based luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue announced it is closing its store at the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

According to a report in DNR, the 73,000-square-foot unit will close on July 20. The store employs about 60 people.

Saks operates 10 stores in Florida, including locations in Boca Raton, Miami, Bal Harbour and Palm Beach. Another store in Palm Beach Gardens was recently expanded and renovated.
