Taco Bell Opens First Retail Store

Taco Bell (Irvine, Calif.) has opened its first retail store featuring Taco Bell-branded merchandise, including bags and bikinis. The store has opened as part of its Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas, which includes a 24-hour restaurant that also serves alcohol. This location is the brand’s 7000th restaurant and its fourth Cantina restaurant.

The store design and format reflects the area’s nightlife, with a dedicated space for a DJ, a wall of beer taps, outdoor misters and heaters, VIP lounges and an outdoor patio. The two-story building is faced with a wall of glass and features digital menu boards and portable ordering tablets to reduce wait times.

“This flagship restaurant is our ultimate expression of the Taco Bell brand and lifestyle,” the brand’s CMO Marisa Thalberg said in a statement, according to L.A. Biz
