Tailored Brands Names New CTO

Tailored Brands (Houston, Texas) has named former Kohl’s (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) executive Scott Viffquain as its new Executive VP and Chief Technology Officer, according to a press release. The company hopes Viffquain’s experience with retail and technology will help improve digital operations.

The company has been recently revitalizing their leadership, following a $75 million emergency loan in March, and after exiting bankruptcy in December. Like many others, the company struggled during the pandemic due to lack of new apparel needs, shipping delays, and Covid mandates.
