Taking Herself to Kinko's

Kinko's Inc. (Dallas) has named Sue Parks as executive vp of operations, effective Aug. 1, 2002. Parks will essentially be the number two person in Kinko's management, reporting only to president and ceo Gary Kusin and being responsible for managing Kinko's field operations, commercial sales team, real estate and global marketing.

Prior to joining Kinko's, Parks was senior vp of U.S. markets for Gateway Inc. (Poway, Calif.), managing marketing, sales, service and support-team activities and Gateway's sales channels, including 300 retail stores, call centers, field operations and the Internet.

Previously, she had been vp /general manager at US West Inc. (Denver), the telephone, data networking and Internet services company that was purchased by Qwest Communications International Inc. (Denver) in 2000. At U.S. West, Parks headed the business and government solutions division, a $2.6 billion business unit with 3500 employees.
