Talbots Launches Book Club

Talbots (Hingham, Mass.) is launching a Summer Book Club throughout its stores.

To create a unique in-store experience, the club encourages customers to drop off a favorite read and pick up another from someone else, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Customers can use Talbots-branded bookplates to write a note about what the book means to them.

At the end of the summer, any leftover books will be donated to local organizations.

Talbots is also partnering with Random House to spotlight a bestselling author each week.
