Target Launches New Store in Pomona, Calif.

Target Corp. (Minneapolis) will open a new store in Pomona, Calif., in October 2013 on Rio Rancho Road and Auto Center Drive. The 140,000-square-foot space is among 16 Target stores with planned openings in 2013.

“California continues to be a strong market for Target, and we’re excited to expand our presence there in 2013,” says Cary Strouse, senior vp of stores, Western region for Target. The Pomona store will include a selection of fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and pre-packaged baked goods.
