Target Pilots New Rollouts in LA

Target Corp. (Minneapolis) will begin piloting 50 new initiatives at 25 stores in the Los Angeles area. The company is calling the new test plan “LA25.”

The Street reports this is the first time the company will begin testing a large number of its top rollouts together to see how it will impact guest service. The changes include service stations for online pickups, improved fixtures and specialists in key departments.

The Los Angeles market was chosen because California is home to the company’s largest market with individual stores selected due to density and mix of guests as well as the region’s variety of floor plans.
