Target’s Big Day

Target Corp. (Minneapolis) has announced it will open 26 new stores on Sunday, March 6, 2005.

The new stores will be in Gilbert and Mesa, Ariz.; Fontana and Upland, Calif.; Aurora, Colo.; Orange and Trumbull, Conn.; Jacksonville and Sanford, Fla.; Atlanta; Decatur and Streamwood, Ill.; Plainville and Revere, Mass.; Rockville, Md.; Andover, Minn.; St. Joseph, Mo.; Mount Kisco and Queensbury, N.Y.; Whitehall, Ohio; Franklin, Tenn.; Waxahachie, Texas; Mechanicsville and Richmond, Va.; Oak Creek, Wis.; and Morgantown, W. Va.

As of that day, Target will be operating 1330 stores in 47 states.
