ThinkGeek Opens First Store

Online technology and computer retailer ThinkGeek (Fairfax, Va.) has announced the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store. The location is set to open later this month in the Florida Mall in Orlando, Fla.

Orlando Attractions Magazine reports that the store will feature bright lights, an open floor plan and a large selection of apparel and collectables aimed at its niche demographic. The store will also featured licensed products from video games and movie and television franchises.

The company’s new owner, GameStop (Dallas), is known for its video game and collectibles stores, but plans to continue diversifying product offerings with the ThinkGeek brand.
