Toy Retailer CAMP to Open Los Angeles Flagship

CAMP (New York) is preparing to open a new flagship in Los Angeles, which will be the toy retailer’s ninth store and its first on the West Coast.

The 7,000-square-foot location, slated to open on April 23, will offer the retailer’s familiar summer camp-themed experience in which families can go from cabin to cabin and participate in various activities including arts and crafts, sports, dance and theater.

The store will also feature CAMP’s signature “Magic Door,” a speakeasy-style pivoting wall that leads to interactive themed experiences that change seasonally. Additional attractions include a Barbie-themed disco cabin and an interactive RV campsite, the result of partnerships with the Barbie doll brand and RVshare rental marketplace, respectively.

Since launching in 2018, CAMP has opened stores in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Texas, California and Connecticut.
