Ulta Announces Expansion

Ulta Beauty (Bolingbrook, Ill.) recently told investors that it will double its store count from its 900 current locations to an estimated 1700 stores.

As part of the expansion, Ulta is choosing locations that already have stores that attract middle class shoppers such as Trader Joe’s, Target and Whole Foods, reports Fortune.

A $4 billion-a-year company, Ulta sells 20,000 products and offers in-store salons as well as a successful loyalty program.
