Uniqlo Plans European Expansion

Fast-fashion retailer Uniqlo (Tokyo) plans to expand its brand across Europe new year, opening stores in such cities as Madrid, Barcelona and Milan. A location is Germany is also in the works.

According to Drapers online news, Charlotte Bouvier, marketing director at Uniqlo France, says the company intends to add six more stores in Paris, following the October opening of its French flagship.

The division of Fast Retailing Co. will introduce its second collection with designer Jil Sander, called the +J range, next month.
