Walmart Plans 20,000 Supply Chain Hires

Walmart (Bentonville, Ark.) is aiming to hire 20,000 employees for its supply chain in preparation for the upcoming holiday season. Job positions will be a mix of full-time and part-time and will be permanent, according to CNBC.

Walmart clarified in a corporate blog post that an average wage for a supply chain associate with the company is $20.37 per hour. Roles like order fillers to freight handlers will be filled throughout the company’s 250-plus distribution and fulfillment centers, and, transportation offices.

Walmart has not yet announced any additional plans for seasonal hiring.
