Carter & Burgess, King-Casey form strategic partnership

Carter & Burgess (Fort Worth, Texas), the architecture/engineering/design consulting firm, has formed a strategic alliance with King-Casey Inc. (South Norwalk, Conn.) to provide both architectural and engineering design and branding identification services to retail clients.

King-Casey specializes in the creation of brands and retail identities, offering consumer research, brand positioning, brand identity, interior and exterior retail design, retail merchandising and package design. It has, among its clients, Pepsi-Cola, McDonald's, Taco Bell, KFC and Subway, as well as prominent big-box and discount retailers.

Carter & Burgess specializes in retail prototype design, rollout services and program management. Its Retail Stores Group has managed programs for such big-box and specialty retailers as Wal-Mart, Staples, CVS, Pier 1 Imports and TGIFridays.

“The alliance of Carter & Burgess and King-Casey will allow both firms to provide a total package of retail services, from branding and identification through rollout a/e design services, from a single source,” said Chris Stocke, senior vp and manager of Carter & Burgess'retail division.

“We are excited at the prospect of delivering visual merchandising, menu systems and merchandising communications systems in conjunction with the a/e services of Carter & Burgess,” said Michael Vizziello, chief development officer for King-Casey. “Clients will now have a seamless approach to how they merchandise their products and services rolled out across multiple locations.”
