Apple to Offer Free In-Store Classes

Apple (Cupertino, Calif.) announced that it will begin offering free educational classes to the public in all of its stores. The classes will be called “Today at Apple” and will cover more than 60 different subjects including art, design, coding and photography. The classes will begin being offered next month in all of the company’s 495 stores.

To facilitate the classes, the company is also introducing “Creative Pros,” which is the teaching equivalent of the store’s “Geniuses” who help with technical issues, reports CNET. In addition to teaching, the Creative Pros will have 90-minute studio hours where customers can bring in personal projects for their insights.

Apple Senior Vice President of Retail Angela Ahrendts said, "We think it will be a fun and enlightening experience for everyone who joins."
