A.R.E. Visual Presentation of the Year: Nespresso, Coffee Capsuled

Combining coffee with fashion, Nespresso Norway created a presentation for its espresso machines and coffee capsules that won the Visual Presentation of the Year in the A.R.E. 2011 Store Design competition. The visual award is sponsored by VMSD.

The presentation, produced by Westerdals Studio 3D students Fride Severeidet, Cathrine Hellandsvik and Sandra Arvidsson, dressed fashion mannequins in an Oslo mall using the capsules for decorative items – a bowtie on one mannequin, part of a gown on another.

Severeide says the “abstract ‘heads’ were supposed to illustrate the foam on, for example, a cappuccino or a café latte.”
