Toys “R” Us executives offered bonuses to stay with the company

Toys “R” Us Inc. (Wayne, N.J.) has reportedly offered its top executives bonuses to remain with the company through an upcoming reorganization.

According to a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, the toy retailer gave verbal assurances to president John Barbour, cfo Ray Arthur and others that they would be eligible for bonuses if they were actively employed by the company when it separates its Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us operations, scheduled for the first half of this year.
