Cabela’s Opens with “Ribbon Shooting”

Bows and arrows will inaugurate new Louisville store

Cabela’s Inc. (Chappell, Neb.), the industry’s largest retailer of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, will open its 44^th store location in Louisville, Ky., this weekend with a “ribbon shooting” ceremony.

Cabela’s ceo Tommy Millner and chief operating officer Michael Copeland will be on hand when staff professionals pierce the opening-day ribbon with bows and arrows.

The 88,000-square-foot store is located in the Old Brownsboro Crossing development east of Louisville.
