Cath Kidston Partners With Disney

British retailer Cath Kidston (London) will launch a limited-edition special collection of “Winnie-the-Pooh”-themed womenswear, bags, homeware and kidswear later this year.

Disney’s European studios initiated the collaboration, according to Retail Gazette. As a result, Cath Kidston was granted access to studio archives so the brand could incorporate Disney (Burbank, Calif.) stars into the brand’s own prints.

“Winnie-the-Pooh is a British character with a British story, and obviously a very British brand, so it was something that we wanted to be able to work with across all of our categories as well,” said Cath Kidston Marketing Director Sue Chidler.
