Chicago Bids No Trump

Chicago zoning officials have ordered the New York-based Trump Organization to remove a banner promoting its casino in Gary, Ind., from the side along the river of the Chicago Sun-Times building.

According to a report in Crain's Chicago Business, the long black banner emblazoned with the Trump logo and the casino's 800-number stretched across the riverfront side of the building, directly below the Chicago Sun-Times'sign.

The city determined the sign was illegal because current zoning ordinances prohibit any signs promoting businesses that aren't located on the site. Workers took down the banner last Wednesday afternoon.
