Management Changes:

Osram Sylvania (Danvers, Mass., lighting manufacturer) has named Richard Diehl vp of the consumer products channel. Diehl had been the sales manager for Sylvania Lighting Services since 1998.

Emick Howard & Seibert Inc. (Seattle architecture firm) hired R. Joseph Keith as an architect, designer and project manager. Most recently, Keith managed his own contract design service company.

Chicago Metallic (Chicago acoustical ceiling manufacturer) hired Thomas Smith as the metal ceilings product manager, responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of product growth strategies. Smith has more than 20 years of related experience.

Business Briefs:

WD Partners (Columbus, Ohio, design firm) has added a value engineering group to work with its retail design group. The new group will provide expertise early in the development process on how MEP and architectural principles affect a prototype concept.

Store Openings/New Contracts:

Echeverria Design Group (Coral Gables, Fla., design firm) has been retained by East Coast Jewelry Inc. to provide interior architectural, space planning and design services for a store renovation in Palm Beach.
