Christopher & Banks (Minneapolis) has rolled out a new “missy-petite-women format” at 37 of its 550 stores and plans to convert a total of 190 stores to the new format by the end of the year.

The new format combines all of the brand’s size offerings in one store, bringing the CJ Banks brand under the Christopher & Banks banner throughout its chain of mall-based locations. The company says the change came as a result of customer studies conducted over the last two years, which revealed a preference for stores that integrated all sizes.

Christopher & Banks operates 550 stores in 43 states consisting of Christopher & Banks stores, C.J. Banks plus-sized clothing stores, outlet shops and the new combined missy-petites-women stores, according to Retailing Today.
