Coach Closing Hong Kong Flagship

Coach, Inc. (New York) announced it will close its Hong Kong flagship due to declining tourism in China. The company will still run 21 locations in Hong Kong.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that the four-story store located on Queens Road Central was meant to be leased until October 2017, but will now cease operations as of Aug. 31.

Victor Luis, ceo, stated on an earnings call to investors at the beginning of the month that the Chinese economic slowdown was already impacting the company.
