Crate and Barrel (Northbrook, Ill.) plans to open a Marimekko shop-in-shop dedicated to the Finnish apparel and interior design and textile house. Located at its SoHo store, the space will feature textiles, bed and bath, decor and some apparel. It is expected to open in mid-October.

Both brands say they are also exploring further opportunities for collaboration, including other shop-in-shops and e-commerce.

Crate and Barrel began selling Marimekko fabrics in 1967, followed by a clothing line several years later.
