FIRST PLACE – IN-STORE SEASONAL PROMOTIONS
Mother’s Day
David Jones,
Sydney

For Mother’s Day 2005, David Jones created a manicured garden theme featuring the department store’s signature Mother’s Day element – the pink peony.

Peony banners were suspended from columns on the ground floor while sculpted flower displays were placed throughout the store.

Windows dressed in box hedges, topiary balls and flowerbeds continued the garden theme, while mannequins lounging about supported the notion that moms should get to do what they want on their special day.

The judges agreed there was “a nice consistency between the interior and exterior.”
