FIRST PLACE – IN-STORE SEASONAL PROMOTION: MALL/EXTERIOR/SEASONAL DISPLAY
The Shops at Columbus Circle

New York

Judges created a special category to honor Holiday Image's multimedia seasonal display for The Shops at Columbus Circle in New York last Christmas.

The display, which debuted in November 2005, featured a dozen 14-foot, 14-point stars, each weighing 987 pounds and hanging from the 84-foot-high glass-enclosed Great Room atrium.

LEDs enclosed within the stars were programmed in coordination with four custom musical compositions of the “Nutcracker Suite,” recorded by renowned jazz, rock and new age musicians. Every 15 minutes throughout the holiday season, shoppers were treated to a sound and light spectacular.
