Diesel Black Gold, the contemporary division of Diesel, has opened a boutique at 68 Greene Street. The 2500-square-foot store is the first  retail location to showcase the Diesel Black Gold Men’s and Women’s collections exclusively.

Working with New York-based interior designer Ryan Korban, the store brings the brand’s signature rock-chic aesthetic to life using fine fabrics and finishes. The loft-like interior features 15-foot ceilings lined in gunmetal velvet with the main gallery displaying zebra wood and a custom-made leather screen. The sales floor is anchored by two large aluminum monoliths and clothing is installed in suede-lined niches. Wall-to-wall dove gray carpet covers the floor.

“Diesel Black Gold has grown to be such a success in its own right, we felt it was time to give it its own showcase – a place where the customer could fully experience the brand’s most special attributes and values,” says Renzo Rosso, Diesel president and founder.

Korban adds, “It’s a warm, vintage-inspired environment, a reinterpretation of luxury for a modern generation.”
