A Dunkin’ (Canton, MA) coffee shop in Colorado that has been in operation for 55 years has temporarily closed because it can’t find enough workers, The Colorado Springs Gazette reports.
The store normally operates with 15 employees, but that number dwindled to three before the closure. The store’s management was unable to find workers to replace the departures, prompting the tough decision.
“We just can’t get people to work,” says Alex Apodaca, COO of JB Partners, the franchisee company which manages the Dunkin’ store. “We’re in a major labor crisis, and that is the 100 percent reason why we’re closed. No other reason.”
