Fanatics Appoints Chief Strategic Retail Officer

Fanatics (Jacksonville, Fla.) has promoted Gina Sprenger to become the brand’s Chief Strategic Retail Officer, according to a press release. Sprenger will be in charge of inventory management, merchandising and field operations for flagship stores, in-venue retail locations and stadiums, as well as for special events.

Sprenger originally joined the company in 2016. She previously led the e-commerce offerings of the brand’s NCAA and hard goods businesses, as well as offline merchandising. She also played a role in developing Fanatics’ Better Brands Initiative.

This is a newly created role for the company and Sprenger will lead a team of 1800 employees.
