Fifth & Pacific Sells Lucky Brand for $225M

An affiliate of Leonard Green & Partners agrees to acquire the denim label

Fifth & Pacific Cos. Inc. (New York) has found a buyer for its Lucky Brand Jeans property.

An affiliate of Leonard Green & Partners LP (Los Angeles) will pay $225 million for the denim brand.

Fifth & Pacific has been selling off the parts of its business it had accumulated while it was Liz Claiborne Inc., so it can focus on its profitable Kate Spade business. In October, it sold its Juicy Couture brand to Authentic Brands Group (New York) for $195 million.
