MTI-Andrews (Hillsboro, Ore., provider of merchandising solutions and distributor of service components to the consumer electronics industry) has appointed Chris Remy chief operating officer.

Times Square Lighting (Stony Point, N.Y., architectural and theatrical lighting manufacturer) has hired John Soltes as sales, theatrical lighting, and Thomas Tyler as engineering manager.

Adams Magnetic Products Co. (Elmhurst, Ill., designer and manufacturer of magnetic products) has named Alan Ji magnetics engineer for its national operations.

ShopperTrak Corp. (Chicago provider of retail traffic solutions and services) has promoted Dan Natale to vp, North American sales.

Atdec (Sydney, Australia, provider of visual display mounting) has launched a new web site, at www.atdec.com.

TSAO DesignGroup (San Francisco design firm) has announced its Miami office received the Miami Chamber of Commerce 2007 New Business of the Year award.

AkarStudios (Santa Monica, Calif., design firm) has been awarded the Los Angeles AIA Design Award in the restaurant category for its design of Tanzore in Beverly Hills, Calif.
