Frankie4 (Windsor, Australia) has opened a store at the upscale Bellevue Collection shopping complex near Seattle. This is a permanent location, following the success of the brand’s Bellevue Square pop-up locations last spring and summer, the retailer said in a news release.

Frankie4’s new store was designed by locally based JPC Architects. Australian design nods within the 1844 sq ft retail space include curated coffee table books by renowned Australian photographer Kara Rosenlund. The store’s clean, modern interior also features live plants and designed to inspire wellness and customers’ well-being, the integral aspect of the brand’s DNA.

“We spend a lot of time educating our team on the materials we use, why we use them, what are common foot pathologies that women will come into store with, and how our shoes can really change a woman’s life,” said Frankie4 Group CEO Hilary McMillan. “…Our footwear has helped hundreds of thousands of women, and we look forward to helping many more women in our flagship US store.”

This isn’t the brand’s first foray into the U.S. brick-and-mortar market. According to published reports, Frankie4 opened a store in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood in early 2022. But that locale is no longer listed on the company’s website and was not mentioned in the company’s news release on the Bellevue store.

Founded by a podiatrist in 2010, Frankie4 has nine retail stores in Australia in addition to its Bellevue locale.
