Gloucester Street Cigar Company

This new store in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood is a plush combination of Jazz Age elegance and present-day tech, recalling the heydays of cigars and martinis. Interior design (by Margulies & Associates, Boston) is dominated by dramatically lit, Deco-style custom maple fixtures that showcase cigars and related products. Customers can lounge in comfortable thirties-style chairs, listen to classical jazz and, of course, light one up.

Design: Margulies & Associates, Boston
