Goody's Family Clothing Inc. (Knoxville, Tenn.), which recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, has made arrangements to dispose of 69 retail store leases located primarily throughout the Southeast. It has hired DJM Realty, a retail real estate disposition and restructuring firm, to exclusively manage the disposition project.

During this process, the retailer said it will continue to remain operational.

The 69 stores range in size from 20,574 to 52,632 square feet. “We are pleased to offer these prime real estate locations to retailers,” said Emilio Amendola, DJM co-president. “The Goody's portfolio offers a unique mix of mid- and big-box stores located in freestanding locations and strip centers with strong retail co-tenants.”

The Goody's store leases are available in the following 18 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. The store inventories are being liquidated until store closures are complete.
