Hale to the New VP

Carter & Burgess (Fort Worth, Texas), one of the nation's largest architectural, engineering and construction management firms, has named Craig Hale vp, national director of retail stores within the firm's Retail & Distribution division.

Hale will oversee the retail store business and project development efforts for Carter & Burgess throughout the United States. Additionally, he will expand his role in the marketing efforts of the group through increased participation in trade events, roundtable seminars, newsletters and articles for industry publications.

Over the past five years, Hale — formerly an architect, store designer and planner and visual merchandising executive for Zale Corp. and JC Penney — has expanded the firm's retail portfolio to include CVS Pharmacy, Pier 1 Imports, Cargo Furniture, Kay Jewelers, PetSmart, Reeds Jewelers and Nickelodeon.
