Harrods App Promotes Perfume Campaign

London retailer to drive store traffic with downloadable content

Harrods Department Store (London) will be using multimedia content from its iPad magazine application as part of its month-long perfume campaign beginning later this month.

The “Meet the Perfumers” promotion, running from August 22 through September 19, will showcase a selection of well-known perfumers and exclusive workshops in Harrods Beauty Halls.

The August issue of the retailer’s magazine can be downloaded to an iPad directing readers to an exclusive, app-only “Fragrance Explosion” video.

A short video on Harrods’ social media platforms will also remind consumers to download the app and view the video and issue content.
