Trade association names new officers, directors

The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (NASFM) elected new officers and five new directors to its board of directors at its annual meeting last week in Bonita Springs, Fla.

Jack Hale, ceo of TJ Hale Co. (Menomonee Falls, Wis.), begins his two-year term as president of the trade association. Other officers are: vice president, Robert Reeve Frackelton, vp of Reeve Store Equipment Co. (Pico Rivera, Calif.); and treasurer Alan Harvill, president of EMI Industries (Tampa, Fla.)

Jim Schubert, president of Showbest Fixture Corp. (Richmond, Va.), will serve as immediate past president.

NASFM’s new directors are: Donald Depke, president of Midwest Woodworking & Fixture Corp. (St. Louis); John Empfield, director of marketing, Panel Processing Inc. (Alpena, Mich.); Teri Mascotti, vp of sales, MICE NorthAmerica (Eagan, Minn.); Joe Nevin, senior principal, Bergmeyer Associates Inc. (Boston); and John Schlegel, chairman and ceo of Hamilton Fixture (Hamilton, Ohio) and a former NASFM president.

Officers serve two-year terms; board members serve three-year terms. A full listing of board members and officers is available on the NASFM web site.

The industry trade association, based in Hollywood, Fla., also has a full-time staff, headed by executive director Klein Merriman.
