Hello Kitty Opens Pop-Up Café

Sanrio’s (Tokyo) Hello Kitty brand has launched its first pop-up café in the Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, Calif.

The temporary café offers Hello Kitty-branded fare such as baked goods topped with bows, bow-shaped water bottles and the Hello Kitty face stenciled with cocoa powder on the milk foam of latte drinks, according to the OC Register.

Housed in a pink and white shipping container, the pop-up location will also sell merchandise such as Hello Kitty ceramic mugs and T-shirts.
