H&M Expands in Australia

H&M (Stockholm) plans to open two new stores in Sydney, Australia, this year. Both stores are slated to open by August, which will bring the retailer’s store count in the country up to 12 since it launched there two years ago.

The Sydney openings are one piece of the retailer’s efforts to expand globally by 10 to 15 percent each year. In 2016 alone, it plans to add 425 stores worldwide, reports Business Insider Australia.

The new stores will be located in the city’s Broadway Sydney and Bondi areas.
