Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz is refocusing its expansion plans to meet rising demand from China, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The fast-fashion retailer entered China in 2007 and operates 64 stores there. As more foreign brands enter the market, H&M says it will expand its existing store space while also moving into the slightly smaller cities.

“We have entered cities like Changchun, Nanjing, Guangzhou and Kunming, and are planning to open stores in several cities next year,” says ceo Karl-Johan Persson.
