Home Depot Opens in New York — Again

Upper East Side store called “ultimate urban big box”

The Home Depot Inc. (Atlanta) will open what it is calling “the ultimate urban big box” in New York this week.

The three-level, 100,000-square-foot “super-luxury” store, the retailer’s second to open in Manhattan this year, is at 59th Street and Third Avenue, in the new Bloomberg office building

Designer of the store is Navid Maqami, principal of the New York office of architecture firm Greenberg Farrow (Atlanta). IBEX Construction (New York) built the store.
