Published

The Home Depot (Atlanta) has arranged to purchase all six Plaza Masso home-improvement stores from the Puerto Rican retail organization, Masso Expo Corp. (San Juan). According to Home Depot's Southern Division president Tony Brown, the company intends to renovate and reopen four of the stores by next year. Two of the Plaza Masso stores are located near existent Home Depot stores and therefore could be sold.

Home Depot came to the island two years ago, opening stores in Carolina and Bayamon; two more locations are now under construction in Caguas and Rexville, slated to open next spring and summer, respectively.
