Restoration Hardware launches new brand this fall

Published

Restoration Hardware Inc. (Corte Madera, Calif.) will launch a new brand, Brocade Home, in September with the mailing of a home catalog.

“Brocade Home is a fashion home brand targeted at the broader value market with a unique and feminine point of view,” said Gary Friedman, the company's president, ceo and chairman. “The brand launches with a catalog this fall, and our plan is to develop a multi-channel retailing platform over the next several years.”

Brocade Home was developed by Lisa Versacio, who joined Restoration Hardware a year ago from Williams-Sonoma Inc. where she was responsible for developing and launching the West Elm brand.

“The Brocade Home aesthetic fuses the past with the present,” said Versacio. “Beautiful, rich fabrics and materials give the brand a look that is romantic and seductive, with a touch of something unexpected.”

Restoration Hardware, a specialty retailer of home furnishings, bath fixtures and bathware, functional and decorative hardware and related merchandise, operates 103 retail stores and seven outlet stores in 30 states, the District of Columbia and Canada. It also sells its merchandise through its catalog and web site. Customers can preview Brocade Home and request a catalog at www.brocadehome.com.
