Hudson Group (East Rutherford, N.J.) has started a new chapter in retail at JFK Terminal 1 with the addition of several new stores, including Michael Kors, Juicy Couture, Tumi and Victoria's Secret. A new Harley-Davidson store (developed in conjunction with “Miracle Mile” Harley of Great Neck, Long Island) is also set to open this summer.

The new Michael Kors shop represents the brand’s first free-standing shop in any airport and measures 934 square feet. Juicy Couture’s 940-square-foot location is the second Juicy in the airport (the first opened in Terminal 7 last year) and offers women's and girls' apparel as well as handbags, shoes, intimates, swimwear, accessories, sunglasses, yoga, fragrance and baby merchandise. The Victoria's Secret shop offers travelers a wide assortment of Victoria's Secret beauty products, fragrances, and branded accessories, including small leather goods, bags and luggage, as well as apparel, in a sophisticated and glamorous setting. A new 544-square-foot Tumi shop is Hudson's second Tumi shop in JFK; the first is located in Terminal 7.

In addition to these new specialty retailers, Hudson Group plans to introduce new Hudson News stores throughout the airport.

“Today's international traveler is looking for exciting shopping experiences and great American designer brands,” says Joe DiDomizio, president and ceo, Hudson Group. “Our expert design and merchandising teams have the ability to create the right merchandise mix and atmosphere for every airport and terminal.”
