Johnny Rockets Pushes Manila Expansion

Franchise Owner Camamiq Foods Inc. opened its newest Johnny Rockets restaurant in Forbes Town Center in Taguig City, Philippines. The Metro Manila location joins three other Johnny Rockets locations, in nearby Quezon City.

The company opened its first Johnny Rockets there two years ago and plans to have a fifth location at Alabang Town Center, in southern Metro Manila in early 2012.

“We've seen comparable restaurant sales continue to rise in popular international tourist areas, even when foot traffic is declining,” says Steve Devine, senior vp, international development for Johnny Rockets (Aliso Viejo, Calif.).
