Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) is expanding its product offering to include furniture from Bombay Co.

More than 180 general merchandise stores, including Dillons Marketplace, Fred Meyer, Fry's Marketplace, King Soopers, Kroger Marketplace and Smith's Marketplace locations, will carry furniture, accents and gifts from the New York-based home furnishings company, which was relaunched last year following bankruptcy proceedings in 2007.

The stores will carry decor items such as mirrors, vases and novelty accents, as well as chairs, upholstered pieces, accent tables and coffee tables, reports Furniture Today.

“We are proud to partner with a group of retailers that represent those same qualities and are excited that consumers across the country will once again be able to shop for Bombay products in-store,” says Wil Hollands, president of Hermes-Otto International, the owner of The Bombay Co. brand.
