Kroger Expands in Michigan

The Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) announced it will invest $180 million in the state of Michigan and create 1000 jobs through its upcoming store expansion.

The Detroit Free Press reports Kroger will be introducing three new Marketplace stores, six fuel centers, 22 ClickList sites for online ordering and remodels for 11 existing stores.

Company representatives cited large growth for the Kroger Co. in Michigan last year as the reason for the continued growth.
