NASFM announces program for its annual manufacturing seminar

The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (NASFM) has announced that its 42nd annual Manufacturing Seminar will take place next February at the Marriott City Center in Salt Lake City.

In addition to a program of seminars, the three-day event (February 8 – 10) will include plant tours of Fetzers, OC Tanner, 3form, Hurco and Albertson¹s Mill.

Seminar topics will include: “Obstacles and Barriers to Entry with Lean Manufacturing;” “Sustaining Lean in Your Plant;” “Employee Accountability in the Plant;” and “Scheduling in Lean Times.”

Roundtable sessions will cover: “Cost justification of lean;” “What¹s new in metal?” “Metrics: here¹s what you can do, what you could do, here¹s how to measure;” and “Employee accountability.”
