Lego Opens Largest Store

The new locale is in London’s Leicester Square

Lego (Billund, Denmark) has opened its largest store ever. Located in London’s Leicester Square, the store’s design is a nod to all things London with an 18-foot-tall Lego statue of Big Ben, models of Shakespeare, a beefeater and a mosaic of the city’s skyline.

It also features a variety of new and personalized experiences for customers, such as the Mosiac Maker, which converts a headshot into a Lego kit that shoppers can purchase and assemble. Shoppers can also find out which Lego minifigure they look like.

In conjunction with the store opening, the company also debuted its new Lego mascot, Lester, who drinks tea and carries an umbrella, reports MetroUK.
