FIRST PLACE – NON-HOLIDAY WINDOW DISPLAY: SPECIAL EVENT
Culinary Tablescapes
Marshall Field's,
Chicago

Marshall Field's State Street store cooked up some excitement for a week of culinary events with a series of “Tablescape” windows.

Starting with a round wooden table, a circular theme was carried throughout each of the four windows. Oversized round images of featured chefs were suspended above, while circular compositions of kitchen items, such as oven mitts, lobster pots, cutting boards and baking tins, were displayed on the back wall, colored in Field's signature green. Each tablescape reflected the interest of the featured chefs, using items such as small appliances and cookbooks.

Judges enjoyed the kaleidoscope-like design and the interplay between the products and culinary artists.
